Eligibility Criteria For DOST Scholarship 2025
To apply for the DOST Scholarship 2025-2026, students must meet the following qualifications:
- Citizenship: The applicant must be a natural-born Filipino citizen.
- Character and Health: Must have good moral character and be in good health.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Graduating Grade 12 students in SY 2024-2025:
- STEM Strand: All students from STEM classes are eligible.
- Non-STEM Strand: Must be in the top 5% of the graduating class.
- Graduates of Grade 12 before SY 2024-2025 who did not enrol in college:
- STEM Strand: All students from STEM classes are eligible.
- Non-STEM Strand: Must be in the top 5% of their graduating class.
- Graduates of high school before the K-12 Program must be in the top 5% of their class.
- May have taken the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination but either:
- Did not qualify previously.
- Qualified but did not avail of the scholarship.
- Have not taken any previous DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination.
- Must not have earned any post-secondary (college or vocational) units.

Scholarship Benefits
Scholars can get substantial financial aid through the DOST Scholarship, which covers tuition, living expenses, and other necessary costs.
A. Regular Academic Year Benefits
- Tuition and school fees (for scholars in private universities) – Up to ₱40,000 per year.
- Learning materials and/or connectivity allowance – ₱10,000 per year.
- Monthly living allowance – ₱8,000 per month.
- Clothing allowance (First Semester of the First Year) – ₱1,000.
- Transportation allowance (for students studying outside their home province) – 1 economy-class roundtrip fare.
- Group health and accident insurance – Fully covered.
- Thesis allowance – ₱10,000.
- Graduation allowance – ₱1,000.
B. Mid-Year Term Allowance (If Required in the Curriculum)
- Tuition and school fees – Up to ₱10,000.
- Learning materials and/or connectivity allowance – ₱2,000.
- Monthly living allowance – ₱8,000 per month for two months.
- Group health and accident insurance – Fully covered.
